Meridian has hired three new Service Coordinators during 2012.  Each is in a full time position designed to help elderly and disabled individuals maintain their ability to live independently.  The three new positions are located in Dane County (2) and Chippewa Falls (1).  This bring the total number of Service Coordinators working in Meridian's portfolio of apartment communities to fifteen.

A recent day long meeting of the Service Coordinators at Meridian's Corporate Office included discussion on the at risk and frail population, performance reports, Meridian's Service Coordinator Handbook, and different types of advocacy.  In addition, two speakers from Dane County Social Services spoke on the subject of elder abuse.
