Rodney Tapp President, CEO and Shareholder As President of Meridian, Rod’s responsibilities include providing strategic direction and overseeing operations for the company. Meridian manages over 5,600 apartments in over 100 locations. Meridian’s portfolio includes low income housing tax credit financed developments, HUD Section 8 sites, and market rate properties. Real estate managed exceeds $350 million in asset value and generates annual rental income of over $54 million. Rod earned an MBA in Finance from Capella University, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from Laramie County Community College. He is also a licensed real estate broker. Prior to joining Meridian over twenty-five years ago, Rod spent eight years in banking with management, mortgage, and community reinvestment responsibilities. Rod has previously served on board appointments that include the Wisconsin Partnership for Affordable Housing, the Wisconsin Supreme Court Office of Lawyer Regulation District 9 Committee, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago Community Advisory Board, and the Nehemiah Community Development Corporation. |
